| Dr.
Haffner is a Pediatric Dentist specially trained to treat the
dental needs of all children. Dr. Haffner received her bachelor's
of science degree in biology at Furman University. She then received
her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University
of South Carolina. Dr. Haffner continued her education at the
University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where
she received her Certification in Pediatric Dentistry.

Haffner is on medical staff at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
She has a Georgia permit for Conscious Sedation, is certified in
CPR, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Haffner has done research
in many different areas of dentistry and dental science. Her research
includes studies in the aging craniofacial skeleton. |

Dr. Haffner developed a method to study changes in the skeleton
and found skeletal changes that occur in the skeleton as the skeleton
matures. Her findings are published in the Journal of Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgery and Angle Orthodontics. |

| Dr.
Haffner is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, a member of the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association,
and Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. |
Dr.
Haffner has done lectures on these topics at National Medical Conventions.
Other areas of special interest for Dr. Haffner include Special
Needs and Craniofacial Genetics.
In additon to the required training in these areas in pediatric
dental residency, Dr. Haffner did additional research and volunteer
work. Dr. Haffner participated on a Craniofacial Anomalies team
where she helped to devise treatment approaches for children with
special dental needs. |
