Brushing TIps

Plaque is the sticky, colorless film that coats your teeth causing cavities and even gum disease. The best way to remove plaque and prevent cavities is by brushing and flossing every day, at least twice a day!

This is how to brush:

1) Brush back and forth along the teeth at the gums. Tilt your toothbrush bristles at an angle toward your gums.

2) Brush down on your top teeth and up on your bottom teeth.

3) Brush the tops of all your teeth back and forth.

4) Spend extra time brushing back teeth.

5) Brush your tongue gently for fresh breath.

*Remember: Use a timer to make sure you brush for at least 2 full minutes!
